Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a bustling port city nestled in a large natural bay with a beautiful backdrop of mountains that are over 1000 meters high. Wandering around the centre, you will discover expressive, brightly painted buildings, fancy shops and a tropical oasis of birdsong, fountains and greenery in the city park. Taking Plaza Espana as a starting point, everything of interest lies within 1km. The old town of La Orotava in Tenerife lies at the foot of the Teide Mountain, in a valley, only 5 km from Puerto de la Cruz. This town has kept all the calm and charm of the old traditional villages typical of the Canary Islands. Jandia is a lovely resort located in the very south of Fuerteventura with some of the best beaches on the island.
